I serve as the Church Administrator and Board Secretary at Abundant Life Fellowship. I have been part of this church family for seven years, and from the beginning, I have felt deeply led by prayer and by the Holy Spirit to serve here. Along with my administrative responsibilities, you will often see me greeting or ushering, as connecting with people has always been close to my heart.
In my role, I handle day-to-day purchases for the church's needs and facilitate, coordinate, and host many of our church functions throughout the year. These include leadership meetings, the Ladies Christmas Ornament Exchange, volunteer appreciation events, and other gatherings as they arise. I find great joy in helping create welcoming and well-organized spaces where fellowship and ministry can flourish.
My faith journey began early in life through a special childhood neighbor, Luna Cook, who gave me a book of Bible stories. I read that book repeatedly, and with each reading, my faith grew stronger. Although I did not grow up attending church regularly, I always believed there was a God and that His Son died for my sins. At the age of nineteen, I fully understood what it meant to accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, and I made that decision. I have been walking in faith ever since.
A verse that continues to guide my heart is 1 Corinthians 16:14, which reminds me to let all that I do be done in love. This scripture helps me realign my heart whenever I serve, casting out resentment or negative thoughts and refocusing on the joy of what I am doing and Who I am doing it for.
What I am most passionate about in ministry is seeing people come to Christ and experience His healing power in both their bodies and their hearts. I long to see people living with God-given purpose and to watch their lives be transformed as they open themselves to Him. My prayer for Abundant Life Fellowship is that people would open their hearts to feel and see God moving in their lives.
Outside of ministry responsibilities, I enjoy hosting large gatherings and bringing people together, as well as hiking and traveling. I have also completed two years of auditing at Faith Christian College, which has further shaped my understanding and love for God’s Word. Serving at Abundant Life Fellowship is a privilege, and my desire is always to serve with love, joy, and a heart fully surrendered to God’s calling.
